BARCELONA
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation at the hotel.
BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA – MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, depart southwestward through an industrial and agricultural area of certain importance in Europe. Arrival in Zaragoza, capital of Aragon, situated on the banks of the Ebro River, which is the most voluminous in the Iberian Peninsula. Zaragoza, known as Cesar Augusta during the Roman period, played a very significant role in Spanish history. Free time to visit the impressive architecture of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. Continuation to Madrid. Accommodation at the hotel. (*) For operational reasons, the Barcelona-Madrid journey may be made by bus with the group or by high-speed train without an accompanying guide.
MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure heading south through the land of Don Quixote, "The Man from La Mancha," passing by the typical inn of Don Quixote in Puerto Lápice. Through the natural pass of "Despeñaperros," we arrive in Andalusia, a region with a huge heritage from a glorious past. Arrival in Córdoba. Visit its impressive Mosque/Cathedral that will relax our minds and spirits to stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. SEVILLA
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, a monumental and panoramic visit of the city, including entrance to the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome. Typical Santa Cruz Quarter, a natural setting of "Carmen" as well as the place where the myth of "Don Juan" developed. Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Free afternoon to discover different perspectives and specific flavors of this lively city full of light. Accommodation at the hotel. Optional visit to a Flamenco show.
SEVILLA – GRANADA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure heading east through the Caliphate Route towards the heart of Andalusia, observing endless olive trees. Arrival in Granada and its incredible and astonishing monumental surroundings, the last bastion of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada until 1492. Visit the world-famous Alhambra complex and the Generalife Gardens, with fountains, gardens, and courtyards that with their views and sounds have inspired authors like W. Irving in his "Tales of the Alhambra." Accommodation at the hotel. In the evening, optionally, Flamenco Zambra show.
GRANADA – VALENCIA
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Alicante, the second largest city in the Valencian Community, to reach Valencia, one of the main capitals of the Mediterranean coast with its modern Architectural Complex of Arts and Sciences composed of six buildings: Hemisfèric, Umbracle, Science Museum, Oceanogràfic, Palau de les Arts, and Ágora. VALENCIA – BARCELONA

In the morning, visit this vibrant city, exploring its old town before passing by the old Turia Riverbed and visiting the most avant-garde complex, the City of Arts and Sciences, to admire its iconic buildings from the outside. In the afternoon, head north along the Mediterranean coast towards Catalonia via Tarragona, the ancient Roman Tarraco.
