MADRID
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation at the hotel.
MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, panoramic city tour; we will contemplate its medieval origins like the Arab fortress by touring the Barrio de la Morería, characterized by the antiquity of its buildings and the flavors of its taverns; we will tour the courtly Madrid of the Austrias with Felipe II and its Renaissance and Baroque buildings in Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de la Villa; we will see the Madrid of the Bourbons and the urban layout of Carlos III, the Royal Palace, the Cibeles Fountain, Neptune Fountain, and the Puerta de Alcalá; we will admire the works of the 19th century like the elegant Plaza de Oriente and the Prado Museum; we will get to know contemporary Madrid with avenues like Gran Vía, Paseo de la Castellana, Barrio de Salamanca, West Park, University City, commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Afternoon at your disposal. Accommodation at the hotel.
MADRID - CORDOBA - SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure southbound through the land of Don Quixote, "The Man of La Mancha," passing by Don Quixote's typical inn in Puerto Lapice. Through the natural passage of "Despeñaperros" we reach Andalusia, a region with a huge inheritance of a glorious past. Arrival in Córdoba. Visit to its impressive Mosque/Cathedral which will relax our minds and spirits to stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short journey of about two hours, arrival in Seville. Accommodation at the hotel.
SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, monumental and panoramic city tour, including entrance to the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome. Typical Santa Cruz Quarter, natural setting of "Carmen" as well as the place where the myth of "Don Juan" developed. Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Free afternoon to discover different perspectives and specific flavors of this vibrant city full of light. Accommodation at the hotel. Optional Flamenco show visit.
SEVILLE - RONDA - COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast at the hotel, departure southbound along the route of the White Villages towards Ronda; free time to admire this city of Celtic origin with wonderful views of the valley and the mountain. In the afternoon, continue towards one of the most modern and important areas of international tourist interest, the Costa del Sol. Accommodation at the hotel.
COSTA DEL SOL - FEZ
After breakfast at the hotel, departure along the tourist route of the Costa del Sol, and, passing through internationally known towns such as Marbella and Puerto Banús, arrival in Algeciras or Tarifa. Boarding the ferry for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar destined for Africa. Arrival in Morocco, disembarkation, customs formalities, and continuation by bus to Fez via Larache, one of the capitals of the Spanish protectorate. Arrival in Fez. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
FEZ
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit to the oldest and most monumental of the Imperial Cities visiting the most interesting places: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarter or Mellah, Bab Bou Jeloud gate and walk through its grandiose Medina or old city, declared a World Heritage Site. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
FEZ - RABAT - MARRAKECH
Breakfast and departure towards Rabat, the diplomatic and administrative capital of Morocco. Visit to Rabat, visiting the outer gates of the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Hassan Tower. Continuation of the journey and arrival in Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit to the city, called the "Pearl of the South", which begins in the magnificent Gardens of Menara, which has a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Next, an external visit to the minaret of the Koutoubia, twin sister of the Giralda of Seville. Once inside the old part of the city, visit to the Bahia Palace, owned by a nobleman from the city. Finally, they head to Jmaa el Fna square, one of the most interesting places in Morocco from where they access the souks and the medina. Guilds of woodworkers, ceramicists, leatherworkers, or spice merchants will be some of the places they will visit. Return to the hotel and free time. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optionally dinner and show at "Fantasia Chez Alí"
MARRAKECH
Breakfast. Free day to continue enjoying the city. Possibility of optional excursions. Consult our staff at the destination. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA
Breakfast. Departure by coach to Casablanca, the cosmopolitan, industrial, and economic heart of Morocco. Upon arrival, panoramic tour of Morocco's largest city visiting the most interesting places such as the exteriors of the Hassan II Great Mosque, Boulevard de la Corniche, and United Nations Square. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
CASABLANCA - TANGIER - TARIFA/ALGECIRAS - COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the port to board the ferry and cross the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain. Continuation by bus to the hotel on the Costa del Sol. Accommodation at the hotel.
COSTA DEL SOL - GRANADA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Granada and its incredible and astonishing monumental surroundings, the last bastion of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada until 1492. Visit to the world-famous Alhambra complex and the Generalife Gardens, fountains, gardens, patios that with their views and sounds have inspired authors such as W. Irving in his "Tales of the Alhambra". Accommodation at the hotel. Optionally, Flamenco Zambra show at night.
GRANADA - TOLEDO - MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure northbound where, under the Castilian sky and surrounded by the Tagus River, stands the impressive Imperial City of Toledo - a World Heritage Site and cradle of civilizations - where the three cultures, Christians, Muslims, and Jews lived together. An extract of the art, history, and spirituality of the country, the entire city is a National Monument. Brief guided tour of this historic city, strolling through its old town through its narrow streets. Continuation to Madrid. Accommodation at the hotel.
